What's going on at the Brinkerhoff's...

We've had lots going on lately, so here's a quick synopsis of what we've been up to!

Happy Father's Day...Week! We spread out fathers day this year and did something little for Matthew every day for a week. Ellie helped me decorate a DAD cake to start the week off, she had so much fun getting his present out each day! We are sure grateful for such a wonderful daddy at our house! Matthew is so great with the girls, and will play and help and love. We love you Matthew! Happy Father's day to Grandpa Johnson, Residori and our Great Grandpa's as well! We're so blessed to have such wonderful men in our lives!

Over Father's day weekend we had a Harston Family Reunion. Friday night we went camping up at Heber Valley Campground. It was a lot of fun, being the first time since we've had kids! Ellie had a blast, and at one point stood on a log and sang for all to hear.."someday my prince will come..." it was hillarious! This is very unlike her because she gets pretty shy around a lot of people, so it was fun to see her open up.

Taylor & Ellie on a hike
The campgound is used for girls camps during the week, so they had a fun waterfront area with canoes and paddleboats. Surprisingly, Addilyn was ok with the whole life jacket thing

The Harston Clan, We had a pretty good turnout, but there were still lots that weren't able to make it (we sure missed you Jeremy & Erin!)

We got a new swingset in our backyard, and the girls could swing for hours! Yes, this is how Ellie looks ALL the time...why do I buy regular clothes?
Ellie's loving the fact that Addie is getting older and more fun! She's pretty good at playing with her, and making her laugh :)

Springville just had their Art City Days, where we enjoyed a carnival, and Ellie tried out her first cotton candy which she loved!

We've seen Grandma & Grandpa Johnson a few times, and had some chances to just hang out and spend some fun time with them. Ellie could have Grandma read to her all day long, and Addilyn loves listening to Grandpa whistle!!

Ellie finished up gymnastics with a cute little routine. She has loved it. She wants to try dance next....any suggestions on where to take her?

We've already had many afternoons swimming in pools, on slip-n-slides and eating ice cream treats! What more can you ask for? These are two of Ellie's favorite friends, Emily and McKailey

My little brother graduated from Mountain View. Congrats Taylor, we're so proud of you!

Thanks for sharing those ADORABLE pictures. Lydia starts gymnastics tomorrow, I don't think they have the bars though, how'd Ellie do on the bars, and beam?
