Happy Birthday Addilyn!

Finally the most anticipated day came for our Addie. She has been waiting SO long for HER day! It made it even more exciting because her cousin Lilly was born on her day! All day she kept reminding everyone that 'Me and Lilly have the same birthday party!' So fun! Here she is with our sweet new cousin/niece!

Addie told me a couple of weeks ago that she wanted a strawberry shortcake cake...so I looked online for ideas and saw this one. I just had to make it! It definitely is not perfect, and I actually learned a lot while I was making it, but it was fun to do and it's so much fun to see their faces when they see it. I've started doing this and I'll make it the night before so they wake up on their birthday to their cake. Well, Addie could not go to bed that night because she wanted to watch me make her cake. So fun!

Always the big sister, Ellie's always there to help, from the opening of the presents, to blowing out the candles! She had so much fun helping shop for the presents, to wrapping them.

I love this picture, we asked Addie what her favorite part of her birthday was, and she said "eating my strawberry shortcake cake", well we should have gotten a picture of her plate...she didn't eat a bite! I'm so glad she liked the cake! We had a fun family party, we had so much support from our family and we love them all so much!
Just a quite note about Addie. She is so so sweet, but I am starting to see some 3-yr old attitude coming from her! So fun! She loves to make people laugh, and when you get her going, she's pretty crazy. She is very thoughtful and so willing to share everything with anyone. She loves to sing and dance but she's pretty tough. She's in the 70% for her height. She loves to pretend to read like Ellie, and loves ABC books. She's pretty shy, and whenever we go anywhere with other people, I can count on her just hanging on me. She loves her sisters loves to play! We love our Adds-a-bads!
